Excerpt: I've bought a LOT of Sandisk cards over the years. A while back they started making the little plastic card holders cheaper. But this card didn't include one at all! Bummer. I depend on those to keep dust other debris out of the little holes in the CF cards while they are loose in my bag.
Summary: I'm very sad, as I bought this card due to SanDisk's solid reputation. The card failed while in the middle of filming a set in front of 3000 people.. had to switch to backup cards of lesser brands.
Pros: Speed enough for filming HD 1024 with stereo sound on a T3i. The speed was waaay better than supposed other 'fast' but budget friendly cards.
Cons: One of two cards failed within 4 months. Lost precious and expensive footage.
Cons: doesn't work. The card I received is marked as 30MB/s class 6 rather than 15MB/s class 4. That would be great but I don't see any product with these specs on the SanDisk web site. Summary: I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again. The 32GB card that said class 10 was a joke. I got it cheap though so I'll keep it for other uses. SanDisk is a little pricier but well worth it.
