Lasted 2 months and after 2 months of problems with Sandisk Support
Alexandre Akira Takamatsu, Amazon
24 August 2011
Summary: The 32GB Micro SD Card came with my smartphone HTC Thunderbolt from Verizon. After 2 months I had a sudden restart and after that I could not access my files anymore. Not even format in the smartphone, or using a PC. I contacted Verizon and they redirect me to Sandisk. 2 Months of promises not fulfilled. I just wanted a replacement. But they proposed 2 x 16 GB class 2 cards, and insisted with this proposal.
Summary: The product showed up fast, but it didn't work right. The memory card didn't transfer data as advertised and the card kept losing data. Probably defective card. Tried to email the seller with no response. Had to file a claim with Amazon to get my money back.
Is the brand name premium product really any better?
28 March 2011
Summary: I took pains to avoid the no-name brands or the possible fake brand name products by purchasing the retail packaged SanDisk card at a premium price. Unfortunately, mine is unreliable. I assume it is defective. It exhibits all the problems I read about in the reviews of cheap cards (dropping out, corrupting data, etc.). I bought a SanDisk retail packaged card to avoid those problems.
Summary: I bought this for my Droid. It shows about 30gig of capacity, but disconnects itself from the phone or computer whenever it gets about 14 gig on it. Tried reformatting, mounting, unmounting, etc, but this thing is just defective. Ordered it from blue proton through amazon. Now I get to try to return it.
Summary: BUY FROM ANOTHER DEALER THAN Smile M Agency They are advertising on their page as SanDisk but as others have complained, they are sending out no name off brands that are probably bad and will not last. They are asking me to pay for shipping back to get a full refund. I would temporarily avoid purchasing from Smile M Agency until they correct their listings.
Summary: The SD Card began having corrupt file issues from day one. Printed lettering on sd card wipes off ...not the case with similar cards purchased from other sellers. I suspect the media was FAKE.
