SanDisk SDSDQ-032G 32GB MicroSD High Capacity with SD Adapter and Mini SD Adapter
1 February 2014
Summary: I was very disjointed to discover that I could not write files larger than about 5GB to this SD card (all my movies are over 5GB). I wanted to load this SD card with 3-4 movies for my trips and watch on my tablet, but the card gives me an error saying the file is too large. I tried with Windows 7 and Ubuntu with the same result.
Excerpt: I bought this for my d7000 for the 2nd card slot so I can share pics with my galaxy note microSD card slot. It works but the write speed is not 10MB/s. Not even close. 7-8MB/s at best tested with my computer software. So I thought it was because it is a microSD, instead of std. So I went ahead and tested the 32GB SDHC Ultra. It doesn't write at 10MB/s neither. I then tested my old 16GB SDHC Ultra from my old P&S camera and it writes at 15MB/s. Go figure.
Pros: Price, and Sandisk's warranty policy (I hope). For my purpose -- storage for a lot of songs -- performance was fine.
Cons: Unreliable. Had it for two months. I synced it with iTunes so I could use it on my BlackBerry. Within a month it would randomly report that some songs weren't accessible, yet the next day they were. Two days ago I started getting fatal errors, and now neither the BB nor Windows will recognize it. Hopefully Sandisk's warranty will take care of it.
product functioned as detailed. issue with longevity.

Summary: Worked well for a start in sgs2 but after almost one year of use the card began to lose data, media files, pictures and installed apps would no longer function. At random times this would occur and eventually the device no longer recognised the card. Installing the card on pc found same result. This happened with 2 cards used in similar devices. I have since switched to class 10 extreme cards with no problems. I'm not sure yet what caused the problem to occur...
