Summary: I have been using a SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash card in my Sony Alpha DSLR since new...have never had a failure and am able to shoot RAW images at extremely high image rates...highly recommended.
Summary: ...went back to overstock to buy another! First one came two days after i placed the order the other one took forever but once they were here worked great. good price. doesn't come in traditional packaging. just in plastic holder.
Summary: I bought this CF card to use with my Canon 50D. When shooting in RAW mode, the images come in at more than 20Mb per capture. That means there's plenty of room for an extended shoot. When shooting in the highest jpeg quality, the 5Mb images roll in at 6.3 shots per second. The SanDisk Extreme III never misses a beat. It's transfer rate keeps up with sports shooting without a single stutter.
Summary: I can now shoot 578 shots on a card before having to upload. I was just on a 4 day trip across Florida and used the card in my Canon Digital Rebel and didn't fill it until late the third day and I was shooting EVERYTHING. Excellent choice and I recommend it.
