Excerpt: I was looking to improve on the continuous exposure frames per second on my Nikon D7100. After the buffer is full (~6 frames shooting RAW) the camera has to write to the card as it shoots. I have been using SanDisk Extreme 16GB 45MB/s (sdhc 1 class 10) and getting about 44MB/s.
