a close second in a very close race so compare prices, class and speed

h,s "h,s", Amazon
2 March 2015
  • Summary: Doesn't write quite as fast as the Sandisk cards but still, very reliable, doesn't overheat, and reasonably fast. I'd use price as the guide if choosing between the Samsung and Sandisk cards. If one if noticeably cheaper for the same features and rated speeds, then I'd get that one.

Fast Enough For My Gopro Hero 3+ Black

DrChopShop.com, Newegg
4 January 2015
  • Summary: need a few more for all my gopros and phone.
  • Pros: Great price, great specs, and a very solid buy. It's not the absolute fastest, but it has no issues bottlenecking or slowing down in my GoPro Hero 3+ Black camera, and those generally need solid cards...
  • Cons: none

It works

John W., Newegg
30 December 2014
  • Summary: I'm very disappointed with this product. It may be an "older phone (2012)" but I did see benchmarks for other cards getting as high as 52MB/s. This card has the same speed as a 32GB no name I got from Office Max two years ago for five dollars (black Friday deal).
  • Pros: Higher capacity
  • Cons: No where near the "Up to 48MB/s advertised. 19.85 MB/s Reads 11.28 MB/s Writes on a Galaxy S III SGH-I747

  • Excerpt: I love the added protection of the professional performance SD cards compared to the regular SD cards. In this day and age where traveling is unavoidable, it's nice to know that all of my files and programs are protected by a durable memory card. This is one happy kitten :)

  • Excerpt: With a short time for an honest opinion this might be a bit premature, but with the experience I've had with numerous Samsung purchases so far, I can only imagine that this too will be another fantastic buy. Thanks Samsung!

Has a lot of room but...

NoMoreSDCardsForMe, Samsung
21 August 2014
  • Excerpt: Although this card has a lot of room available for storage, it has given me nothing but trouble with my Galaxy S5. I have repeatedly had to reformat the card due to it supposedly having unsupported files, but even after reformatting the card several times, a lot of music files will still not play.
