Summary: I used these sticks to max out RAM on an older economy Dell (e310) desktop along with a specialized video card upgrade. This then allowed me to take advantage of the low-cost upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 8 before Microsoft increased the price significantly. If you want to give an older PC one last boost before retiring it, these sticks are recommended for compatible motherboards. One note: I read that my e310 could actually go to 3 GB of RAM (1x2 GB and 1x1 GB).
Summary: Need extra memory for your desktop? These 2GB memory chips were perfect. They are well made, sturdy and snapped into place into our Dell desktop without incident. Overall, there's really no instructions with these, so you sort of need to know what you are doing, but you can watch a video on the popular internet video resource online for a review of how to add memory to your PC, if you don't know how to do it.
Summary: Just as advertised. Originally bought the "4GB kit (2GBx2) Upgrade". Don't do that. I had to return it and buy 2 of these. The other is unrecognizable to the Dell Dimension e510. There are 4 slots, so you get 4gb of memory. The most that is allowable.
