Summary: I purchased one 1 GB stick (for 4 GB total) to fill the fourth slot on my motherboard and get anything more I could from this 32-bit operating system. Instead, I got the blue screen of death a month after installation. In trying to diagnose the cause, the system got to the point where I couldn't even get it to start in safe mode. I gave up and purchased a new, $500 tower.
Summary: This memory didn't work in the computer I intended it for. However, that was my fault as the memory was high density and the older board would only support low density and was very picky at that. PNY went out of their way to help me get the memory I needed to make it work even though they knew they did not have product to fit my needs and would have to buy the competition product. Awesome company. You can't go wrong with them.
Summary: I ordered this Ram and received it within 4-5 working days, when i received my order i installed the ram and with a system analyzer I found three of the four sticks were not what they were on the sticker.. I had ordered four 1gb sticks of pc2-6400 Ram and what i got was 1 pc2-6400 and three pc2-4200, I contacted them right away and they sent me four upgraded memory sticks with better quality of Kinston Brand so they get four stars for customer service..

Summary: I have used PNY vid cards in the past, i was at Best Buy and needed some RAM in my backup PC so i picked up this kit - 4GB total. This went inside an HP DC7700 core 2 DUO. a few weeks later... freezes and BSOD. The blue screens began to happen more frequently. i reseated the RAM, tried just one pair, swapping out the pairs hoping to find the bad stick. no joy. I have been building PCs since the 80's - 8086 and on. This RAM is trash. its cheap.
