DOA, Manufacturer no help

James M., Newegg
25 December 2014
  • Pros: None.
  • Cons: Received product not working out of the box. I contacted Patriot about the issue, and explained that it was purchased for a trip that I was leaving for the following day, and had to purchase a new card (for much more money) in a local store, and asked if there was any way I could just be refunded...

Tip top

Jason H., Newegg
11 November 2014
  • Pros: To heck with thumb drives, I say. Get a small card reader, a few 64 gb flash cards, and unless you have a phone list, spread sheet, MP3 library or who knows what that will fill this bad boy? If your need more mobile space....get another card, silly.
  • Cons: I can't think of any.

Good Product, but beware of rebates

Chris D., Newegg
11 November 2014
  • Summary: This company is very finicky when it comes to rebates. I was just decline for one when I included all the necessary items and I was unable to dispute it. I will keep this in mind next time I need an SD card.
  • Pros: Price and performance. I own a couple of these SD cards from Patriot and I've never had any issues.
  • Cons: None, in regards to performance and reliability.

Rebate Not Honored

Paul A., Newegg
19 October 2014
  • Pros: Card Seems to work
  • Cons: Patriot does not honor rebates. I included all the necessary paperwork (as I've done for many other rebates) and Patriot did not honor Newegg's statement as a receipt. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me, and the last time I'll buy anything from Patriot. There are ot...

Another Rebate Scam

john a., Newegg
17 September 2014
  • Pros: Product is fine.
  • Cons: Just another one of those companies that hope you either don't do the rebate or they say you didn't submit the correct information. Keep the $5 Patriot. I'll buy another brand next time.

Never got the rebate

Haoran L., Newegg
30 August 2014
  • Pros: It works so far.
  • Cons: I mailed the rebate form in with all the required docs and got an email back weeks later saying I didn't send the receipt and asking me to send it again. I did and have never heard back from the manufacturer.

User Review

Tom Y., Newegg
22 August 2014
  • Pros: Fast perfect and reliable at advertised speeds. I have not had a single one of these go bad on me or lose data or not work in a device . . . just make sure is SDHC compatible. You will not need another SD card for a camera again.
  • Cons: none

Worst Ever

Daniel T., Newegg
17 August 2014
  • Summary: I hate that I have to give it 1 egg
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: I purchased 3 of these 64GB cards and ALL three have failed. lost data and are locked up. Can't even reformat these. I could see getting a bad cad, But ALL 3?? I guess there was a reason these were priced so well. Unfortunate that I did not even really use them until after the 30 days had already...

Works well for what I use it for

Ken F., Newegg
22 July 2014
  • Summary: I have not seen how this card behaves after it has been filled to capacity and wear leveling starts to take its toll on performance. That is probably where the much higher rated (and priced) cards begin to earn their keep.
  • Pros: This was a bonus gift that came with my Sony A77M2 and seems to work just fine in it. It can clear the buffer of 25 RAW + JPEG images in about 30 seconds if I shoot at the full 12fps until the buffer is full. Compare that to a SanDisk extreme that is rated at 4X faster and takes 21 seconds to do ...
  • Cons: None yet.
