A flash drive It was a few years ago now when, after looking at one of the initial bunch of Flash drives, I commented that everyone should own one. Well, by now I wouldn't be surprised if everyone does. Prices have fallen as capacities have rocketed and the market seems well and truly saturated with devices from just about every corner of the globe and from manufacturers familiar and those not so familiar. The advent of the DVD and the ever increasing capacity of hard drives means our files have got larger over time. Not much more than a decade ago you'd have been unlikely to be in possession of a file that wouldn't fit on a floppy disk, in fact a great many games shipped on a single floppy. Today it almost seems pointless trying to make proper use of any portable storage medium that can't carry at least as much as a CD does. Read more

I wanted to upgrade my Mac to Lion OS X and needed additional memory. Instead of purchasing more expensive cards from APPLE I decided to give these a try. The install was very simple (instructions are available on the APPLE support). I am very pleased with the speed and performance of my Macbook. So far, so good. Read more

I am so thrilled right now! I took a chance after reading other success stories with HP LaserJet printers and purchased this memory upgrade instead of the HP recommended module on their web site. I powered on my HP P2055dn, browsed to the device configuration page and it said "DIMM: Slot: 256 MByte RAM DIMM". Read more

Performs as expected, for the job it was intended. The read/write times for these SD cards are quite good. With the 4 GB size, I can take over 500 photos with my 8 MP Canon digital camera. These cards are of exceptional quality, with a GREAT price! I bought 6 at once. Read more

I have nothing to say about the card, but I must say I won't buy Kingston anymore because of the rebate-handling policies. Not only did I have to wait for months before getting my check, but I also had to exchange half a dozen emails with Kingston to finally get my check. They have the "let's see if the customer forgets about the rebate and let's make it hard for them to get their money back" attitude. That's too bad. Read more

I love photography and have always had a digital camera since they have been out because there is nothing better to me than the memories of a good time. I love to take a lot of photos and used to have a Kodak memory card but even at 106 pictures this didn't seem like enough anymore as I want to travel a lot next year and seem to be taking lots of photos at once and on nights out can take up to 70 easily.
