Fast!

  • Summary: While this wasn't a factor in deciding how to rate this card, it is much prettier and makes the other cards I have look downright ugly.
  • Pros: Much faster read and write times than my old class 4 cards. My cameras aren't able to write to this card much faster than they did to the old Class 4 cards so where this card shines is when downloading photos from the card to the computer. Somewhat faster read and write times than another brand c...
  • Cons: No storage case. The storage cases I found online were only 70 cents each; I'm sure Kingston could have added one for less than 50 cents each. I would have happily paid $1 more for this card if came with it's own storage case instead of having to go to the hassle of finding and buying one separat...

  • Pros: Not much to say. It is Kingston and works as expected with no problems. It was purchased for a digital camera. Takes one picture after another no freeze ups.

Almost lasted a year

Joseph M., Newegg

  • Pros: The chip performed to specs. It was a treat to have a high capacity fast chip that did in seconds what took minutes on my slower chips.
  • Cons: The chip stopped working with no warning signs. Last place it was used was in a digital camera. Seemed to work fine... was able to review photos. Took it out of the camera and it ceased to function. Tried several sd to usb adapters, sd slot on an hp printer and nothing worked. Tried to format the...

I GOT ONE OF THESE FOR SALE

John D., Newegg
26 April 2012
  • Summary: I think it is STUPID for manufacturers to make the same card (identical in appearance) in two different versions - one that works with standard SD devices and one that won't. Why can't they just make the incompatable card look different so that people can tell what they are getting!?!?!?
  • Pros: I'm sure this is a great product... but I wasn't aware of the incompatability issue with standard SD slot devices, and it won't work in my reader. SO... I'm selling mine for 15 dollars (postage included) to the first person to contact me at scaler164 at comcast.net FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! Sold A...
  • Cons: Incompatability with standard SD devices... yet it looks IDENTICAL to a standard SD disk.
