The Eye-Fi Pro X2 is an 8GB memory card that features Eye-Fi’s proprietary X2 engine. Supporting Class 6 performance, the X2 provides users with optimized read/write speeds, as well as wireless photo and video uploads and increased Wi-Fi range. The unit also allows users to create an ad hoc connection directly to their computer to wirelessly upload photos and videos while away from a wireless router. More than 10,000 Wayport and open hotspots also allows users to upload content while away from home, and the Pro X2 automatically geotags photos with information about where the images were taken.
