Summary: If you have an older computer and these chips are right for you (google "crucial memory advisor" to find a site for checking this), so ahead and get these. Even with the (relatively) exorbitant shipping, they're still pretty inexpensive. I've had no problem with these chips. You probably need to speed match these chips in pairs, so go ahead and get two at once. Put them in the same color slots on your motherboard and you should be good to go.
Summary: The folks at Amazon rejected my first review which read "perfect transaction" but it seems they want fairly wordy feedback, which I might have provided if this were a work worthy of critical review and there was anything to say other than "it works and I'm happy." In some ways, Amazon is brilliant, but when they are dumb, they are dumber than a bucket of ice. Rejecting feedback due to length is DUMB! I am happy with my purchase, PERIOD! And I love Amazon, mostly!

Summary: I installed this 1Gb memory module from Crucial on a friend's Compaq SR5030NX desktop computer and it works great. Better performance after adding this RAM chip and now the Compaq computer has a total of 2gigs of RAM.
