Summary: Enjoying this MP3 player. Not perfect but good sound, small very portible and holds alot of music. A little hard to search for certain songs. It also is hard to read off of as far as e-books...screen alittle small for that. But I just bought it for listening to music and it works great for that. Sound is great!
Summary: I have this mp3 for 3 years, and a year ago someone stepped on my bag on a plane and my mp3 was in the bag, and they cracked the screen. I finally got around to replacing it and decided to get what I originally had since I loved it so much. I would recommend not just this product to anybody, but I would recommend this brand to anybody.
Summary: With no bookmarks, this player does not work well for audio books. A slight bump on a control, can throw you into another recording, loosing your place. And it is very tiresome to have to scan thru by time (hours, mins, seconds) particularly when you are 5hr, 37min, 53secs into a 12hr book! But good for music. Instructions terrible.
Summary: This the best MP3 Player I ever used for listening to MP3 audio books and OTR. You can have the audio books is separate directories and the player will go from one directory to another automatically without having to go to the browser. All files and directories being sorted as with computer file manager.
Summary: I purchased not really as a MP3 player but more to record FM broadcasts at special events. This works very well for recording the broadcasts, and the MP3's that are created sound very good to me.
Summary: The Transcend T.sonic 840 is an adequate MP3 player, and a decent FM radio tuner. The other functions on the device are pretty much a waste of time and space. The first thing I did when I turned it on was to start the radio, because I hadn't loaded any files on it yet. It immediately popped up a message requesting me to plug in the headphones. Weird... so I checked the device and the manual, and found that in fact this device does not have a speaker.
