Poor replacement of original SONY product which broke .
Moon Planter, Amazon

Summary: Price was the same as paid for a much better quality version which I crudely taped together and now actually still use. The new one has a much worse signal to ratio volume control and poorer reception ... every thing else looks the same .... clever rip off and I feel I've been had by Amazon once again.
Summary: The Sony name on the Walkman I received was a disgrace. The tape player never functioned properly, continuing to slow down and stop for no reason. Maybe it was due to the fact that the product was at the end of production; but that is no excuses for poor quality control. Having purchased many Sony products in the past this is the first time that I am complexly dissatisfied with the company and one of their products.
Summary: Sony created the best portable cassette player ever and then discontinued it without warning, nice going guys. It uses one battery that lasts for 18 or so hours, has reverse, is thin enough to fit into a shirt pocket. Only drawback is the battery door is fragile; drop the unit and the door is apt to break, leading to electrician's tape and unhappiness. Sound reproduction is good. There's a reason these are trading well over $100 for unused models.
Summary: Excellent clarity of sounds. Compact. Can fit most shirt and pants pockets. Enjoy your cassettes any where you go. There is a weather band, also. For all that this Walkman does it only requires one (1) AA battery!
Summary: I picked this up because my stereo system does not accept cassettes. I am listening to a particular self-help program which is on cassette so the choice was obvious. I must admit, setting the preset buttons on the device can be tricky if you lose the booklet, but I can figure it out.
