Volume dead in 8 months. Sony support was worthless.

Summary: The headphones worked well for about 6 months. Then after such time, the volume got touchy until finally becoming fixed at one volume. The unit was bought in May 2014 and now it is January 2015. I did use this unit for marathon training, but I would not expect the longer use at single time period to affect the volume. Battery was good for the marathon training. I could run for 3 hours plus with no issue. I am skeptical to buy another pair but waterproof this time.
The design of 2GB is better. It uses standard USB charging

Summary: I have this one and the 4 GB model. The 4GB requires the special Sony charger which is a pain, if you lose it. The design of 2GB is better. It uses standard USB charging. I also like the manual on/off button. Much better than the 4GB press and hold button, which is a pain to use when you are trying to exercise. I wish they kept the 2GB design and added more memory. But if you only need 2GB of memory for songs, this is the better choice.
Absolutely perfect. I've got an abnormally long head

Summary: Absolutely perfect. I've got an abnormally long head, so some of these types of things don't fit very well, but the flexible headband allows it to adjust to fit great. 2GB is just enough room for my stuff, but most people would want to opt for the newer, larger-capacity version. I was looking for the lowest price, and I like it.
Summary: I have always used music when I work out to get me motivated and zone out. The problem has always been the dangling cord from the headphones. These have none of the drawbacks while still being an excellent mp3 player. Some people may not like that you can't choose your song to listen to, but I just put my songs on shuffle. Anybody that works out, espically lifting weights, should check these out. Way to go Sony for another great product.
I purchased the water resistant version and liked being able work out w/o wires
Mark Knoppel, Amazon
19 November 2014
Summary: I purchased the water resistant version and liked being able work out w/o wires. I received the waterproof version as a gift so that I could also listen to music while swimming. Various sizes of earplugs were provided and finding the correct size is critical to keep water from leaking into the ear and blocking the sound. Once the speakers are wet, the sound is completely muffled and the unit has to be left to dry before it can be used again.
Nice product for someone who wants to carry less stuff while working out.

Summary: I only see benefits of this product 1) Nice product for someone who wants to carry less stuff while working out. It doesn't come with a screen as it is made to be small and without unnecessary jazz. 2) It stores about 200+ songs. 3) Battery life is awesome too. I charge it once every week (after about 7 hours playback), not because it exhausts the juice but just to make sure that it doesn't run out during next week. 4) I sweat a lot while running so waterproof helps.
