Summary: I love Sony products, but this item takes a hit. The previous reviewer was correct about that dongle to charge the wireless headphones. Sony designers dropped the ball on this item, which is why they no longer sell it. Oh, well, I learned and was fore warned by a previous buyer. With the exception of that dongle, the MP3 player works beautifully. I can listen, advance, rewind stop and start and adjust the volume with ease.
Summary: I wanted a new mp3 player to use when I work out on weights and elliptical machine or when I walk. I've loved the Sandisk products, but my old Sandisk player was getting problematic, so I researched for some time to find another player. This Sony is a good buy on several fronts. Pluses: 1. sounds great - music reproduction is clear and loud 2. bluetooth provides tremendous flexibility in how I can use the player 3. easy transfer of music from computer to player 4.
Summary: I've read in a few places that this MP3 player won't shut off.. That's partially true. Not sure why Sony designed it this way but it completely shuts off only after like 4 hours of idle time. If you hit any button on this player after you've turned it off, it'll come back on right away and your four hour wait time to completely shut down, starts all over again. Terrible design!! The player works well though, all in all.
Summary: PROS: - The bluetooth capability is nice since I use it while running. It limits the amount of wire hanging around me while I run. - Syncing WMP playlists is a great feature. I like that its software integrates with WMP for managing playlists. Then you can select the playlist and choose shuffle mode to have a nice mix of your music which is nice when I am running. - The clip-on headset controller is a nice feature.
