The Sony NWZ-S610 series Walkman doesn't bring anything striking or new to the table, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a quality MP3 player with nice extras and a killer battery life. Plus, Sony got rid of SonicStage--the best news ever. Read more

I loved this player my wife gifted me for business travels and was absolutely happy with it before its sound disappeared one day. The customer service in Moscow, Russia, was so harsh and unwilling to do its job (after I had spent 70 minutes in a line!) that I had to make a decision to spend no more time trying to get the warranty repair. This is a wonderful little piece of equipment, but if your looking for photo/video capabilites ... look elsewhere. The LCD is too small for any good resolution when it comes to photos, and installing a playable video is a nightmare! I love Sony's electronics, and as far as Sound Quality this MP3 player is superb, but I've tried every way I can think of to load a video and all I get is "not playable" warning. Read more

I bought this 8 Gig model a couple of years ago to replace an old 1Gig model with the 3 line screen. It had been fantastic and i still use it with a HiFi, but eventurly i needed more space. So i bought this after being so impressed with my last Sony. I bought this from Argos with some money off for about £90, and it simply hasn't put a foot wrong. Battery life is superb, much better than was advertised. Sound quality is really your own chosing, down to bit rate. Read more
