Summary: I bought the refurb 8g Walkman from Sonystyle last month for this price and LOVE it. I was so tired of iTunes. With this one, you just drag and drop onto the unit in Windows Explorer, OR you can use the very very very small Sony installer hardware, which puts a little box on your desktop.

Summary: excellent sound quality, simple intuitive interface. Radio has limited reception. relatively large storage capacity, and very long battery life with quick easy recharge. initially purchased for parents but was quickly acquired by the children of the house--luckily allows large individual playlists.
Summary: Don't dismiss this Sony if you are looking for a great mp3. It might be a 8GB, but it has more then enough memory for plenty of songs, pic's and books. I have 1500 songs and I use it at the gym 4x a week and so far their are NO problems. It is easy to use and small, with great sound.
Summary: Purchased the Sony Walkman for my wife. Has all kinds of bells and whistles. She loves it. Has 8gb of memory, probably too much. Typical person could easily get by with only 4. Guess the kids will be occupied with movies during our long road trips.
You'd have to spend at least $40 more for headphones

Summary: Bought this product for $90+tax in Best Buy 5th Ave NY. Opened the sealed packaging to discover the worst type of headphones ever. Not worth a dollar. Didn't even include the little piece of foam to cover the earphone so it won't hurt your ears. The right earphone was damaged.
Summary: This player worked beautifully right out of the box. I have a subscription music account, and it is wonderful to have a player that I can "borrow" music with until I decide I'd like to buy. I have had an iPod for several years now, and I do love it.
Summary: Grandma is having fun with the new toy. The old songs sound great on it. This is a totally new learning experience for an older person and a wonderful way to enjoy my music without disturbing others. No wonder the kids all have one.
