Summary: I have been purchasing Sony Walkmans and Discmans for years. So, they were my first choice for an MP3 player. And Sony continues to deliver quality and excellence with their MP3 players. The Sony Walkman is very easy to use and to understand. The computer setup was simple and quick. I had to update one of my computer programs, but the instructions included with the device walked me through installation in a clear manner.
Summary: I won the bid on this 16 GB Sony MP3 at $70; to me that's a steal. In local store, even the 8GB version would have cost me more than $80. I bought this one because I already owned its 8-GB sibling and has been so satisfied with it that I decided to have one more, the 16-GB one. Sound quality is superb, so is its battery hours per charge. Performace/Price, this MP3 beats all the similar products on the market. This is very important to me.
Summary: I thought it was great. I've been given several items to review and this was the only one I felt a need to pass it on. Seems simple and I use the radio at the ballgame so I don't have to wear those massive headphones. Gets great reception and the battery last quite a long time as far as I can tell. I can't tell you if it is a fair price. All I can tell you is that if you think the price is fair the product will not be the problem.
Summary: Bought this player based upon other reviews, and boy, were they right. This thing is great! Very easy to set up and use. Battery life is phenomenal. My old player wouldn't even last 6 hours before it died, but my Sony Walkman NWZ-E355 player can go for days!
Summary: I had an 8Gb walkman from 2 years ago. It broke, so I bought what I thought was the same product. It is essentially the same product and the same software inside. But the exterior changed in a way that makes my experience with this walkman unpleasant. 1- The controls are *way* too sensitive. I have to use the 'hold' switch all the time. 2- It was covered with scratches within 3 days.
