Summary: This cool little mp3 player is discrete and is ideal for sports activities. You can put it in your pocket or clip it to your clothes. One of the best features is the wireless quick charge option via USB. You can also perform a full charge providing you with up to 18 hours of music. It comes with a built in microphone for voice recordings. Using the quick charge gives you 90 minutes playback time.
Summary: This is an amazing little device and a little walkman is a must have for the music lovers around the world. It's beauty lies in it's simplicity, light weight, small size and usefulness! It may not be as technologically advanced as Apple's Ipods, but somehow it is just perfect for what it's made for, - listening to music on the move. It is rather tough and will survive a fall so it's good for running and other such activities.
Sony NWZB162 B Series: Take to the gym and jogging
11 April 2012
Summary: I had this as a gift for christmas, after long runs and days at the gym keeping my chunky ipod in my hands and having difficulty I found this very easy to clin on and take out with me, its really easy to transfer all your songs over to the device from your computer and didn't need any downloading disks on my computer or all the hassling with cords and wires.
Summary: I love listening to music whether it is from my laptop, phone or ipod. However, one thing I always find difficult is to listen to music when I'm exercising because neither my phone nor my ipod has an attachable clip that will make it portable yet light. So, when I receive the Sony NWZB162 B walkman as a present from one of my distant relatives for as a college graduation present, I knew I found a good use for the present.
Summary: I've been using this particular Sony mp3 player series (occasionally changing the models) for the last four years, and there's a reason I'm in no hurry to trade it. In terms of sheer conveniance, you simply cannot beat it. With a drag and drop transfer of songs using Windows Media Player , it's ridiculously easy to use (much more so than earlier models which changing the file format), and will play all .mp3 and .wmv files.
Summary: This was a gift purchase for my husband as he's never had an MP3 player to call his own! I wanted specifically to buy him a Sony model because my own mp3 is an older model Sony NWD B105 and I love both its reliability and its sound quality. I chose this Sony NWZB162 model for my husband principally because it has a clip facility, which is the one thing that I wish my own mp3 had!
Pros: Very portable, excellent sound quality
Cons: Too easy to accidentally switch on; clip can be fiddly
Sony NWZB162 B Series: The Incredible Shrinking Walkman
15 February 2012
Summary: Much as I love the two iPods I own, I like to have an element of control over what I listen to in the gym and hate having to wear armbands to use them. I have previously owned a Sansa Clip and an Archos player for use when I go to the gym. Although I do like the Archos player I found it a little limiting because it doesn't have a screen and decided to upgrade recently, with the other caveat being the player have a clip.
Pros: Easy to use, functionality, "zap feature", clip
Cons: Sound quality could be a little better - a bit more oomph in the volume would be much appreciated
