Summary: I owned this Walkman 4 years ago, it was my first mp3 and I LOVED it and went EVERYWHERE with it. but about 6 months after having it, I lost it (don't know how, but still regret it...) I would have bought another but I was broke and by the time I actually had the cash to buy another, it was DISCONTINUED! afterwards for the past 4 years I have owned quite a few different music player. just to name a few Ipod: classic, nano, Touch.
Amazing sound quality + Awesome video quality + Long battery life
6 August 2009
Excerpt: "...this is the first time Sony has incorporated Bluetooth into its player. Sure its a good idea, but will anyone actually use it? Well to be honest i don't use the bluetooth function(I got the model that doesnt come with the bluetooth headset). This is for a number of reasons: Firstly, buying a pair of bluetooth headphones isn't too friendly to your wallet. Secondly, these earphones dont really sound as good as wired ones. Thirdly, I just dont see the ...
Pros: Awesome sound quality, Good video playback, Sexy design, 36hours battery life !
Cons: No fm tuner, the bluetooth function is a waste of time .
Excerpt: "...doubts about the quality of Sony Audios. They can do lots of things but not a thing when quality is the watch word. I have been using a Creative Muvo for quite some time, it is very tiny the size of a USB flash drive but had no video play back for it and I was grumbling about it for a long time. I decided that enough was enough and I need something which is good enough for both and my priority was the quality of audio out put. So I decided to go for ...
Excerpt: "I recently bought this mp3 after running out of room for music on my old mp3. i find this mp3 brilliant as it stores all my music in folders by artist, song, genre etc. i find this helpful as i spend alot of time listening to music and dont like to spend time searching my entire mp3 for one song. the way music is stored means i can easily pick a song or album that i would like to listen to. i also find this mp3 useful as it fits perfectly into trouser ...
Pros: good battery life, easy to transfer files and music, easy to find music, good value for money
Summary: Had this now for about 3 months, and i'm amazed with it, i'm not one of these, MP3 player means ipod people, personally I put quality of music playback ahead of it looking pretty, but this is as good looking as any ipod, the buttons are easy to use, and are well placed, the music playback is brilliant, either through the in-ear speakers or the bluetooth ones you get with it, the bluetooth ones are a bit chucky, but hey!
Pros: Ease of use, music quality
Cons: Could be cheaper, PC software is still rubbish!
Excerpt: "This MP3 player is brilliant. It's small, and looks fab. The sound quality is really good and the screen is so crisp and clear. A fantastic price for a great piece of equipment from the masters at Sony. Way better than an Ipod and cheaper too! You can drag and drop songs from a CD onto the Walkman it's simple and easy to do. I really recommend this, you don't need external batteries just plug into USB and charge (it does take 3 hrs to fully charge ...
Pros: Easy to use, ear buds that you dont normally get
Cons: 3 hours to charge full battery but not too bad
Excerpt: "...usual in my experience for Sony barring the Sony vegas video software. However on the upside you can use Windows media player to drag and drop which makes the Sony software redundant. Very fussy about video codecs (h.264/mpeg 4) only. I used dvdfab to do conversions but was still fussy about the settings. So was a bit of trial and error. Could not get this to communicate with my phone/pc/ps3. All in all. Practical for holidays/quality sound/wireless ...
Pros: small, wireless headphones, quality sound, easy to use, drag and drop, battery life
Cons: supplied software slow, clunky, limited video compatability, bluetooth a bit fussy with other gadgets
