Summary: I had my mp3 player stolen this summer, and this mp3 player is exactly like the one I had stolen. This model has been my favorite mp3 player out of all the ones I've had. It holds a good amount of music and several videos.
Summary: Fits in the hand perfect, plays very loud and clear music, and the battery NEVER DIES!! Can't believe it can play video too. Kinda funny cause it's so small I can't imagine watching a movie on it, but it's cool that you can. Recommended!
Summary: I ended up selling this player shortly after I bought it because I was not at all impressed by the sound quality, which is a bit surprising for Sony. Then again, I'm comparing it to an iRiver H300 which is superior IMO. I really liked how small and compact it was; the menus were relatively easy to use; I didn't like that it had a proprietary USB connection; the battery life was great.
Summary: This is a great little device... until the problems start. My husband and I have been through 4 of these in the last six months. Two of them did fine for awhile but then just froze up. Even the computer stopped recognizing them. The first one was under warranty so we traded it in. The one we received to replace it was DOA. Traded it in again, this time with Sony and they sent us the model below this one with less storage.
Summary: The information for this walkman says that it plays video, and also that you can use ITunes. Neither is really true without a lot of effort. It does not include the a way to easily transfer video and is not compatible with the ITunes video types. This means that you have to find conversion software, download it and then figure out how to get the types and sizes right. If you are not that technical you will find this nearly impossible.
Summary: Creating a playlist is a nightmare. I tried everything and finally gave up and created a separate folder as an alternative where I saved my favorite songs. Also saving pictures is not that easy either. When I drag new pictures, it somehow creates a sub-folder and save them there. I then have to move the pictures to my picture folder. It does not let me delete sub-folders but they seem to get deleted when I recharge the battery. Overall I'm not happy with this product.
