Summary: I've had my sony walkman for 5 years and to this day, it still works perfectly fine! And trust me I did not treat it well. It was tossed in my backpack, purse, the floor, and used for a couple of hours practically everyday. Battery life isn't as great as what it used to be- but it can still manage a couple days without charging...unlike my android phone.
Summary: only complaint is that the on off button is too easy to turn on. finding the battery discharged several times for not knowing that i hit the on off button by mistake. overall sound quality is good with the buds that come with the unit. the external speaker is not great, but what can you expect for that size of a unit. in all, good product from sony.
Summary: Bought it for the husband to use while he does his landscaping. It was a little more used than we thought it would be. Although the seller put a new battery in it, we didn't think it was worth the price we paid...The headphones didn't work, it was missing screws, and has what looks like a burnt back? Other than that, surprisingly it works great. Has a really great sound.
Summary: 5 stars! Sony's NWZ-A800 series MP3 players are simply the best out there. Why? State-of-the-art sound quality; plug-n-play, right out of the box; massive battery life; fully portable, these babies fit in the palm of your hand, while offering sound as pure as your favorite CDs (based upon choice of sync-rate and quality, of course)! They also look great, for men and women alike: stylish black casings with silver accents (sweet)!
Summary: I have had my Sony Walkman for over a year at least and it has been and is an extraordinary device. It has ample storage for music. Thin and light weight. Great for exercise workouts and the beach! Syncs really well in Windows Media Player 10. I have enjoyed it so much that I am considering buying another one so that I can have one at home and at the office.
Summary: I bought this MP3 player more than a year and a half ago and I have been using it quite a bit ever since. It has exceeded all my expectations, and I am very happy with it. I even bought an extra two-year warranty thinking that any piece of portable electronics is likely to have some kind of problem within two years, and then I will be provided a new one after it breaks.
Summary: As many reviewers have pointed out, this device has great sound, and perhaps that is most important in an mp3 player. Unfortunately, usability stinks. My biggest gripe is its lack of any ability to add a track to a device playlist. Ipods and many other mp3 players (like the sansas) have the ability to add tracks to an "on-the-go" playlist or similar feature. Why not this one?
