Sony NWZ-A815

What Hi-Fi?
27 June 2008
  • Excerpt: Sony's latest MP3 player, the 2GB NWZ-A815, has been much anticipated, mainly due to its compatibility with Windows Media Player, marking a departure from the dreaded SonicStage software used by earlier Sonys. Fans of Sony products will surely welcome this move, while appreciating the elegant façade of the NWZ-A815. The unit isn't quite as small as the nano, but is still tiny in comparison to most other MP3 players.
  • Pros: Excellent video playback, superb functionality
  • Cons: Needs better sound, pricey

Sony NWZ-A815 review

Stuff.tv
19 December 2007
  • Summary: This 2GB A Series player is the latest version of the Walkman (cling on to that seminal product name, Sony). And accompanying its birth is the sweet stench of botched software death. In the NWZ-A815 and all new Sony Walkman players you'll find the bearable Windows Media Player 11, not the unbearable SonicStage – and, as of now, Sony's Connect music store is on its way out. Rubbish. Bad. Goodbye to.

  • Excerpt: Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Sony NWZ-A810 is its performance. Not only is the battery life of 35.3 hours for audio and 8 hours (rated) for video exceptional, but the processor speed is snappy and photos and videos look very good on the bright color screen, with nice detail and excellent color saturation.

  • Cons: Memoria interna scarsa

Sony Walkman NWZ-A815 (série NWZ-A810)

CNET
5 November 2007
