Summary: This is a great MP3 player. It was actually very frustrating for my mom and sister to get the songs onto it, but that was because we first had to convert them to MP3 files. Save frustration and follow these steps: 1. Insert a CD or burn songs onto a CD from Itunes, etc. You must do this with Windows Media Player, so you have to have Windows XP, but my family has a Windows Vista and it works on that too. 2. Once the songs are loaded on, right-click Rip and choose Format.
Summary: We bought this product for our 1 year old and she loved it. Unfortunately, she dropped the product (as babies tend to do) several times and the battery latch malfunctioned. I don't think the product was meant for babies but nonetheless it doesn't seem to be very durable. But I gave it 4 stars because it was worth the price we paid for it.
Summary: We have had this about a year. Recently have had a few problems with it, but working with tech support (which has been excellent) to try and solve it. We have not had a lot of the problems with the battery compartment, etc that others have had. My 2, 5 and 7 year old can all operate this very easily and fight over who gets to hold it.
Summary: The good....I loved that I could let my kids listen to music without worrying about ear damage from headphones. The form factor was great and it was much smaller in person than I realized (a positive). The bad.... it had glitches in the first couple of weeks that required me to take the battery out. Then it just stopped working. Wouldn't buy another one.
Summary: I did some research on this product before I bought it and found some of the reviews to be negative. However I personally have not had a problem with it so far. I bought it for my 7yr old daughters birthday and she absolutely loves it. I thought there was a problem with the cap that protects the memory card and battery because it kept falling off as the reviews said, however once I was shown how to operate the Sansa Shaker properly it is not a problem any longer, when...
Summary: My daughter loves her Sansa Shaker. It's best for younger kids because it has only 1 button to play plus 2 dials for volume and forward/back. The speaker function is a lot of fun and plays with surprisingly good quality. The only problem she has with it is the bottom lid pops off easily (this is where the battery and USB port are located)but it is held togther with a strap.
Summary: I bought this for my 4-1/2 yr old daughter because she kept bugging me to listen to my mp3 player. Well, I must say it is a life saver. It's easy to operate, she had it for only 5 minutes and said "Mommy, I can do it." I bought rechargeable batteries so that I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on batteries and those last a good 10-12 hours.
