perfect mp3 player for kids
16 May 2014
Summary: built in speaker, 2 headphone ports, and removable sd card that mom can easily transfer music to. my kids get a kick out of the "shake" feature. no problem with batteries lasting long. my kids have had this for 3-4 years and it's still going strong.
Summary: We bought this for my 6 year old grand daughter. The ease of use and durability is wonderful. It took her about 3 minutes to figure out how to use it. It has been dropped many times and keeps playing. The ear buds were uncomfortable so we gave her a set of old earphones and now all is well. It was easy to download songs from our home PC. I would highly recommend this product.
Summary: I bought this mp3 player about a year ago for my then 9 year old son. It has proven to be extremely durable by surviving the ravages and neglect of a young boy. Other things I like about this device: Uses an SD card to store music which allows me to upgrade the storage amount without purchasing a new player, simple intuitive controls which young children can easily learn to use, and most importantly I love that it has a built-in speaker.
Summary: This came just like it was described. It is very easy for my 5yr old daughter to use. It has a clip so she can take it anywhere. She is able to switch through to the songs she without problem. The only thing I wish it had, is an easier way to skip through songs so I could put some audio books on there for her. But for the price it is a perfect gift for a kid. She loves it, which means I love it.
Fantastic for kids or adults that hate ear buds! Has survived through many knocks and drops.

Summary: Oh my goodness! I love these little things. When my son was 5 he was fascinated by my Ipod. Of course there are some songs in my music collection that I would rather not let him hear so I started looking for a small mp3 player for him that wasn't like the junk from China that they sell on Ebay. He originally had the red Sansa Shaker (512mb.) He just turned 8 and we had to buy him a new blue one (512mb from Toys R Us for $19.99) because he lost his original Shaker.
Summary: I bought this little player for my daughter. She's two. She loves this thing. If she can't find it, she walks around asking for her mushik. The speaker gets the job done but don't expect hi fidelity. My daughter doesn't know the difference and she's as happy as can be. I have not tried the ear buds as I do not want to listen to it and my daughter is not allowed to use them. I use a rechargeable AAA battery and always keep a new one ready to go.
