Summary: This is my 3rd MP3 player and I never had any problems with my MP3 players before but I cannot get any music to load to this thing!!!!!!!!!!! Have looked into several threads on how to make this happen but am ready to throw it away..
Summary: You can transfer purchased music to the Sansa Shaker, but it WILL NOT play the music. I was told by Sansa Tech Support that any of my own cd's that I load on the Sansa Shaker must be MP3 format. That's fine, but they also told me the ...
Pros: i have droped it in the pool time after time and it still works..small enough to carry in my bra and loud enough to hear its the best little music player ..its easy to download tunes to and only takes one tripple a battery..everyone loves it, reasonable price, good memory capacity, and it's CUTE!, simple to use
Cons: the only thing i dont like about it is the battery door has broken off and i have to hold it down to down load the tunes onto it now...but other than that i love it and plan on getting another...., need to re-format mp4 to mp3 before downloading to player, some big ones..I use Rhapsody for my sansa 8 gig. Works fine. I found out the hard way that the sansa shaker, which my wife and I bought for our son for Christmas, will NOT PLAY licensed music.
I can't recommend this. SanDisk no longer manufactures this.

Summary: We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas. It worked great for a few weeks and then started having some problems locking up and erasing the memory card. I sent it back to SanDisk for replacement. I was just told today that they no longer manufacture this product. They have offered me an M240 instead.
Summary: I thought I was getting the perfect first MP3 player for my daughter. I just spent the last 3 hours trying to download music onto this thing. When you check the files on the computer, it says they are in there, and will play on the computer. But they absolutely will not play from this shaker. I have tried multiple times to reload the songs, etc., but still no luck. What a waste of time. Too bad, because it's seems like the perfect MP3 for kids. Cute design too.
Summary: I have lots of .MP3 players and only got this for occasions when a built-in speaker would be nice, as when I'm too far away from my stereo system. (And I don't really like the feeling of wires dangling out of my ears.) FIRST: I'm a software developer with a high-end PC and two DVD burners that double as CD Players, but their Installation CD comes in mini-CD format which doesn't work on my system.
Summary: Well Amazon charged and shipped several items separately charging us shipping and handling despite the fact that we were induced by the email stating that shipping and handling was free for purchases over $100. Moreover amazon is shipping the items to the incorrect address. So not only are we being lied to and ripped off, the grandchildren will not be receiving their presents in time for Christmas.
