  1. SanDisk Sansa M240 1 GB MP3 Player

It’s a pretty good 1 GB flash memory digital audio player, which is bulked up with a surprising amount of features for such a small device. In addition to playing both MP3 and WMA audio files, it also sports an FM radio and digital voice recorder. It supports the Microsoft Windows Media Player 10 and [...] Read more

The second product featured in the Portable Audio category is SanDisk’s Sansa m240. What’s so special about this portable audio player? Well for starters it does not weigh much more than it’s own power source which is a single AAA battery. The m240 includes an FM radio and voice recording, a backlit LCD screen that displays ID3 tag information, support for multiple file formats and full compatibility with most subscription services. The Sansa m240 is a 1GB flash... Read more

Got this originally because it was lightweight and I wanted to use it at the gym and on the beach to listen to FM radio. Finally learned to download music to it, and I love it even more. The only thing I can't figure out is how to delete songs I've added to it, but that's really a minor complaint. Hopefully, I'll figure it out. Read more

Although this MP3 used to be the hotshot, it pretty much outlived its glory days. It is relatively bulkier and holds a lot less than the current MP3 out there. Although the MP3 itself isn't bad, I would not recommend it just because there are simply better MP3s out there! Read more

Amazon Verified Purchase ( What's this? ) I ordered two of these to be Christmas gifts for my young sons (4 and 6). I thought this might be a good first-time mp3 player for them. One worked right out of the box, but the other one won't even power up. So, I will have to return it. (I hate to have to return stuff.) It is much smaller than what I thought it would be. But, for under $20, the sound seems fine and I like that it has an FM player. Read more

Stable, robust, great machine for jogging or in the car. THe sound quality is very good for a machine that inexpensive. Perfect for selecting music for exercise. The controls are accessible and simple and easy to see. A great alternative (I use it as a portable for small session of listening) - I use my Ipod for long session of listening. Read more
