I bought this primarily to listen to audiobooks. It is perfect for music. The menu is easy to navigate and it works well with licensed downloads, such as Netlibrary. Windows Music Player recognizes it and syncs to it seamlessly. The firmware can be updated from the Sandisk web-site. An 800 mAh rechargeable battery lasts up to 6 hours and a 900mAh even longer.
