Sound OK, Price OK, but there are better options now.

Summary: Sounds is ok. Navigation clunky. Good for a device I don't mind losing. At first I hated that the IPOD classic was no longer available (thus this purchase), but now come along some good hi-res players. For example the Fiio X1 is only a bit more than this and sound is simply not comparable. The Sansa (well, as with my other iDevices and phones) sound muddled and dull compared to the X1 - and my X3 is even better.
Summary: I purchased one of these a few years ago. The previous model that this was replacing had such high reviews, I thought surely the new, improved version would be an excellent buy. I was so completely wrong. There were TWO firmware updates that were supposed to fix a litany of problems, but there really isn't any way to compensate for poor design, and this is a poorly designed and implemented MP3 player.
Summary: This was the first time I have purchased from Amazon. I had heard several comments from people saying that it was good. Everything about this was sub par. It makes me wonder what kind of poor service the people giving positive comments were use to. The box was crushed and looked like it had been opened and resealed as it was clearly torn open and taped shut. We tried to b use it. It worked for about 30 minutes now it won't turn on.
Summary: When I received this SanDisk MP3 player I couldn't even turn it on. I got nothing. I plugged it into my laptop to charge it but it turned out to be fully charged already, which has never happened when I have purchased a new item, but that is all it would do, just show when plugged in that it was fully charged.
