Summary: Wanted a cheap MP3 player for long car rides after my iPod took a trip through the washer AND dryer. This player has an incredible battery! It lasts weeks in my car without me having to bring it in to charge it. Recently lost it for several months and it still turned on! However, it takes a while to get used to the controls as they are not very responsive and I've given up on selecting particular songs I want to hear - takes too long.
Summary: I've had terrific experience with this model of MP3 player, unfortunately this one did not meet my expectations. When I opened it from the package the player felt sticky all over, as if some child with sticky fingers held it last. It was off putting knowing that the item wasn't even attempted to be cleaned. The last owner didn't even bother to delete their music and family vacation photos off of it.
Summary: Definitely worth it. With a cheap, external memory card you'll have up to 36 gig of storage. Works with itunes allowing you to drag folders directly onto the device. Itunes or other music players is not even needed. Just drag the mp3s onto the device and they are ready to be played. Podcasts start up where you left off, which is a nice feature. Tips: When you get your device update your firmware from the sandisc site.

Summary: Make sure its a manufacture refurbished and not some private refurbished or a used and listed under this category since mine can not load up through a computer and will not read any SD card . its a brick.
Summary: The player did not meet my expectations. I guess this is because it was refurbished. After about 3 weeks of use it shut down on a certain day and took a week to get back up. Sound quality is still fair.
Summary: This little guy would be perfect with its size and price, except mine must have been refinished wrong. Battery first lasted 10 hrs, then 8, now 6 over a couple months (I have music going daily at work). Also the down button doesn't work anymore which makes it a pain for song selection. I got it because my phone isn't loud enough for the gym, but it's been pretty disappointing. You sure get what you pay for with a refurb.
