See lessdesign and interface There's little escaping the likely (if unintentional) parentage of the Sansa Fuze: it bears more than a passing resemblance to Apple's third-generation iPod nano . In fact, if it weren't for the "Sansa" lettering or the home button next to the wheel, it might be indistinguishable from a distance. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, however. Arguably, the short but squat design feels much better in the hand than most players, especially the overly... Read more

Because of the quality of the Sansa Fuze, this review has almost written itself. Like the e200 series before it, this unit is very well designed and has excellent features: Great sound, attractive screen, easy-to-use interface, durable case, robust battery, quality microphone, and other great functions. I have been consistently demoing this unit since I received it and I have found it to be fantastic overall. Read more
Veterans may also be annoyed by SanDisk's willingness to change the context of buttons -- the "play" and "menu" buttons often get switched to up/down, for example -- but in many cases, the control scheme isn't significantly better or worse than on other players, just different. It also has the upshot of allowing certain settings to be changed in mid-song, such as the EQ or shuffle mode. Part II: SanDisk Sansa Fuze >> .. Read more

I use the Fuze casually and at the gym. I like that it works directly/seamlessly with Napster and Windows media player. I like the 'turnwheel'. It is bulkier than the old Sansa that I had. I seem to be recharging it every couple of days, I had hoped the battery would last longer. I would have liked to buy the 8 gig, but it wasn't available in blue, so I bought a chip to up the memory. That was easy, just stuck it in and it worked fine, nothing special to do. Read more
I bought this MP3 player from Fred Meyer's on sale for $70, which boils to about $17.50 per gigabyte; sounds like alot, but its much better than alot of the iPods I've seen. The main reason I switched from my old Nano to the Fuze is for Rhapsody to Go compatibility. I'm sick of paying a buck per song, and that inconvenience wasn't allowing me to fully enjoy the music that's out there. I wanted something that sounded as good (in this case the quality was better) and was... Read more
Although I am computer literate (but crippled by the fact I am 63 years old!) , I have always hesitated in buying a mp3 player. However, did buy the 8 gb Sansa Fuze as was going to Aruba for a couple of weeks and thought I would try it out for beach, etc. This thing does it all and its easy to operate. Moreover, no problem in downloading music from computer. Literally, within a matter of minutes, I was creating my own 'playlists' and downloading them into the Fuze. Great... Read more or see product
This SANDisk MP3 player is fairly easy to use and comes with 4GB internal and SD card slot for external storage. Especially the SD card I found very nice because it allows you to extend the storage up to +16GB and more to come. Not very good is the software, which fortunately you only need when putting movies onto the device, everything else goes easily via drag and drop after the player gets recognized as pure USB device. My boyfriend got it for me; it's my first mp3 player. It's good, I like the quality of the on screen menu, the longevity of it's battery life, but the headset should've been a bit sturdier. What I dislike the most is limited Video fil ... e types that it can play and I've been trying to figure out what to do next, although the User Manual said AVI files! Read more Less Read more
