Summary: It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, definitely not made for someone with larger hands (it was a gift for my brother, but since it was so small, I kept it). I love that you can use the micro sd card to expand the memory. And maybe I'm just old school, but I sure do miss a dedicated on/off button. Definitely does what I need it to do.
Excerpt: The Sansa Clip + Mp3 player is my first choice for active listening while on the go. It reproduces a beautiful acoustic image for both music and spoken word. It also has a recording function for note taking, a FM radio function to tune you into local radio and a mini SD slot for additional playback options.Over all I'd say this player really is the little player - it's surprisingly compact- that could and does deliver on its promises. On the down side-- the internal...
Pros: Compact, Durable, Good Audio, Low Power Consumption
Summary: Adequate device: I bought this to load up on audible.com books for a trip. I want to preserve battery life on my cell. This device takes a little getting used too. My initial reaction was negative but after getting used to it, I believe it lives up to the cost/benefit. Operation is sluggish, I did notice some improvement with a high performance external SD card. When you push play for example, it takes several seconds for playback to start.
Excerpt: I bought this for our 5 yr old who loves music. She puts her headset on, clips this on and dances away. This tiny device holds a ton of music and is incredibly durable. Just be careful it doesn't get lost! ; ) Overall this is a great value.
Excerpt: I bought this for my Boyfriend for Christmas. I would have given it 5 stars, but there's a problem with downloading the CD that comes with it, it won't download completely and you can't visit the website either. You click on the visit sansa website and it takes you to Century 21 real estate homes.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Durable, Good Audio
Excerpt: This was such a good deal and I had been going to try it for a while. I bought it for the clip feature 1st and FM features were a must. The FM is mediocre but the clip is awesome. I had a Sony Walkman and fought it constantly at the gym keeping it out of the way. The sound quality on the Sansa is not nearly as nice as the Walkman. There is a real difference. But it is good enough and the clip stays anywhere, pocket, sleeve, strap ...so I am delighted.
Excerpt: I gave it 4 stars instead of five because it's a bit annoying when I pause the mp3 and then try to rewind.. It doesn't rewind. It skips the track and goes to the next ones. Then I lose my place... Other than that, it's a nice player.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio, Low Power Consumption
If you need a simple MP3 player that you can load easily through Windows Explorer and that doesn't cost a lot

Summary: I'm going to be sorry when these eventually disappear from the market. If you need a simple MP3 player that you can load easily through Windows Explorer and that doesn't cost a lot, these are what you're after. No video playback (in fact, I'd advise staying away from the Clips with video capability--I had a lot of trouble with the one I got at Costco) and no bells or whistles, but these are dependable little players.
