Summary: So far I have purchased 4 of these. They don't last forever, and it is possible to break them. At least one has survived the washing machine. I use one for home/exercise, andfor recording events and classes, and one for music in my massage and movement practice. Oh yes - it's a lovely little gift.
Summary: This one works about the same as my Sansa Clip+, except it has a bigger display, which makes it easier to find tracks, etc. Nice and small and the price is right. Bought it as a gift and found it easy to copy files from the Clip+ to the Clip Zip, using drag and drop on my desktop computer.
Summary: replacing my older sansa clip that i had for over 6 years, and only because i lost it. if this is anything like my previous sansa clip, it will be super sturdy. i took it for 6 years of gymming, running, and snowboarding. it doesnt require as much charging as other mp3s. i usually take it for 2 week's worth of workouts (4-5 times a week) before having to charge. adding and removing songs is easy as it's drop and go.
Probably I would give this player 6 stars if I could. I love them.

Summary: These things are great. I run rockbox on them, use 64GB memory cards, and just LOVE it. Note: I don't run the firmware that comes with it... but with Rockbox (free from rockbox.org), it is FANTASTIC!

Summary: I have one SanDisk clip on that I have worn to the gym for years. I love that it is light, you can lock it so you don't accidentally keep changing songs, it has the FM radio. It syncs easy with my PC. I have enjoyed it for so many years, I just bought two more as gifts for my grandsons. They are hooked now also!
Summary: Slow response time when you click on anything, especially the power button. The thing just doesn't want to turn off. Also, this model has different USB port shape, so you can't use older model's charging cable with it.
