A little tricky to use but it works

Summary: Had this now for five plus years and it still works fine. Minimal features compared to what is available now. Controls and use of features can be a little tricky initially. At the time one of the smallest MP3 players available. Small capacity. Great sound.
Summary: I've had this player for about 6 weeks. The controls are abysmal. The player freezes up when trying to switch from radio mode to mp3 mode. I have to remove the battery to un-freeze it. Oddly enough, I've noticed quite a few positive reviews for this player wherein the author actually noted the freeze-ups and yet still gave it a good review. ??? The biggest nuisance is that when I put songs into the player, I have no idea how many are actually going to play.
Summary: my dad was seeking a portible FM radio to use for travel...that is WAY cheaper than an ipod. this fit the bill. reception is good. adding sings was...doable for me, but he could never have figured it out. the buttons and menus on this could be much improved - it's hard to switch between FM radio and recorded music, and also harder than it should be to turn this off...but still...sounds nice, decent reception, small and good for the price.
Summary: I only use FM stations to listen to preset TV channels at gym or radio stations. Did try to download program and had MAJOR problems after the fact with security and program "glitches" due to install which ended up taking off.
Summary: One of my friends had these and i decided to buy one in 2004, little did i know, i should have waited for the iPod instead. This mp3 player only lasts for about a year, and the sound quality degrades over time, to a point where you hear rasping sounds in quiet areas. Additionally, the ear buds are too big, and as time passses (8months) you start to lose sound in one ear piece, then both. I tried other ear pieces but it was the same.
Summary: First, I own an iPod mini for general use and an iPod shuffle for use in the gym. I needed a player with an AB function. This function allows you to set up a continuous repeat of any section of an audio file (during playback, press the AB button at the start of the part that you want to repeat, then press the AB button again at the end of the part to repeat. Pressing AB a third time clears the repeat).
Still a great purchase over a year and a half later

Summary: I bought this player to take with me when I was a freshman in college. Now, halfway through my junior year, it's still in awesome condition. I mostly use it when I go to the gym and sometimes when I'm driving I plug it into a tape adapter and it sounds really great. I don't ever use the voice recording function, but I'm sure it could be useful if you wanted to use it.
Summary: I love this MP3 player. I bought this to use when mowing and it works perfect. The original earphones had great sound but the 2nd time I used them, the cord fell out of one earpiece. I found a really good pair to replace them and now I wouldn't take anything for this player. It was a refurbished player but works like a new one. I highly recommend this item but be prepared, you may want to purchase a more durable set of earphones along with it.
