Summary: We bought this player for my husband to use while jogging and while he is working in the yard. We didn't want to spen a fortune on constantly upgrading technology and at 256mb we figured he would have plenty of music for the reasons we bought the player. We loaded 4.5 CDs onto the player, 2 of which had 14 songs and some of those songs were as long as 6-8 minutes. It is awesome.
Summary: This player is generally about $70 in price, and it has even made its way into certain Kmart stores and other such retail stores. For certain people who need a flash MP3 player without spending half of your budget, this player is for you. Its audio quality is not bad at all, though audiophiles will notice a few slight defects. Don't waste an incredible amount on high-quality good sounding earphones. What you should do is invest in some far more comfortable earbuds.
Summary: I didn't want anything too lavish or expensive as my first MP3 player, all I needed was something to play music with an FM radio so I could listen to the televisions during my workouts. Overall, I'm happy with this product. The joystick, as mentioned in other reviews, IS pretty difficult to use. The menu setup still has me confused. However, it holds more music than I will need for quite some time, and it does exactly what I bought it for.
Summary: I bought this mp3 player since last december and it has worked out great. I havn't lost it, The features were perfect. It's only had a few problems since then. First of all, at the late summer, the on/off/play button caved in. It still worked but it was slightly harder to press afterward. Second, when I first bought the mp3 player, it came with earphones that were for, well, a giant. It didn't fit anyone i knew or me.
Directions that don't Direct, Instructions that don't instruct, but a player that plays!

Summary: I have had this player for less than 24 hours and for the first 3 of those hours I was pulling my hair hair out. The instructions that come with the player, both in the manual supplied with the player and the downloadable PDF file are sorely lacking. I had never used an MP3 player before so I wasn't schooled on the in's and out's, and what seemed simple wasn't. Following the directions I copied my music to the player, that was simple enough, took hardly any time at all.
Summary: I've been using mine for about two months. Comments: 1) I really love hooking it up to my car stereo using a cassette adapter. I jumped a technology step, from car cassette player to mp3 player without CD player in between. Every morning I can transfer some music or an audio book before I leave the house and I'm good for the day.
Summary: This MP3 Player is not for a die hard music fan that likes thousands of songs. However, if you are like me and like about 50 songs this is about the best you can get. The size is the first thing that caught my eye. I'd say its about 3 inches tall, 1 inch wide, and about a centimeter deep. Easy to carry around and bring places. The USB cable makes it easy to hook up to your computer and download songs.
Summary: First of all, to the dude below, this MP3 player most definately DOES have a shuffle function which is explained clearly in the instruction manual. You can shuffle within a folder or from ALL of your songs, which basically means instead of making a playlist you organize your songs into folders, which isn't quite as good but it get's the job done.
