Summary: This MP3 player has really good sound quality, beautifully designed. However there are only two colors available for chosen, which is a drawback. Also, the default language is Korean which makes me spent quick a lot effort to set it back to English. Overall, this is a really good pure musical mp3.
Summary: The recent spread of iPhone, Android phone and other smart phones has dampened the popularity of mp3 players. However, many still prefer portable mp3 players over bulky smart phones when it comes to listening to music. The same for me. This is especially more so when I go out for a walk or jogging. Then, the smart phones feel quite heavy and big. While searching for an affordable mp3 to listen to music, I came across U6 from Samsung and bought it.
Summary: I own every single Samsung U series in the market. Of course, it's not out of necessity that I own every U series. They are not expensive and I like the diverse design so it's a collection hobby. Seem like a unique hobby? But because of that, I also have all iPod shuffle. Of course, most of them are lower-end versions. I cannot afford to collect iPod touch！ :) The most recent series U6 is the most sophisticated out of all the products launched currently.
Summary: Thinking about what to get for my daughter who turns 11 this year, I decided to get an MP3 player. She is still young, but she is a total music maniac and has the audio turned on whenever she is in her room. In fact, the only time she nags me is for CDs. I first though iPod would be nice, but she wasn't that excited about the device - maybe she is too young for this? It costs a good money too, so I searched around for a small and cute MP3 player.
Excerpt: "...best when used with the Samsung Headphone. There is not many buttons on here. There is just the play/pause button on the front, the volume buttons which is on the side of the unit and an up and down button as well for selecting your song. Yes it can take a bit time to trawl through your songs, but it's like that with any non touch screen device like this. Just plug this into your PC/Laptop, load the songs up and that is it. Easy to use. ...
Pros: good price
Cons: doesn't look all that fancy but still alright .
Is the YP-U6 worthy of displaying the Samsung brand?
2 February 2012
Excerpt: "...one I did on the Samsung YP-P2 8GB version. I am very much into Samsung as a brand and not just because I trust their technology. Yes, their products have great features and offer the latest technology at the best prices, for me though it has to be the looks that do it for me. Samsung have some of the sleekest looking gadgets out there, DVD players, MP3 players, CD players, TV's - you name it, they do a sexy version of it! Following up ...
Excerpt: "...I decided to buy a Samsung YP-U6 from Amazon for £29 (this included postage and packaging). It's a compact little thing, measuring 86mm in height and weighing only 34g and comes with a whole host of useful features such as voice recording and FM radio. At £29 it's very affordable when it comes to newer generation mp3 players and certainly offers a lot in return. Since it's 4GB, it can easily hold around 600-700 3-5 minute tracks, which ...
Excerpt: I was bought this MP3 player for christmas as I like to download music from the net to listen too whilst im out working and this was one of my presents, which although it's quite a basic MP3 player it suits me fine as it stores around 400 songs and is small enough for me to carry around in my bag, so that I can listen to music when ever I want.

Pros: cheap and cheerful
Cons: sound quality through headphones a little tinny
Excerpt: I've had this little MP3 gadget for about 6 months. I didn't really need 1 to be honest, but I wanted something that was a bit cheaper to use when I was out on my bike as I didn't want to be riding about with my iphone clipped onto me as I would die if I broke it (still never got round to taking out insurance on it!). So something that seemed durable and cheaper was what I was looking for and I chose this after reading about this on Amazon.
