Summary: I have had my Samsung yp-u3 for at least 3 years now, and have never had a problem with it. Battery life is many hours, even still. Charges easily through the USB port, it's a breeze to upload and change songs, and the FM tuner provides a nice change from my playlist. Sound quality is great (I bought my own earbuds), and it's so small it tucks into my purse for spur of the moment runs or workouts.
Summary: First of all i had no problems connecting to my pc and using it. it was used maybe a few months then not used/needed for about a year. i charged it via usb everything seemed to be ok. the display came up, it charged for a while, then it said fully charged. unplugged it and now it won't turn on. tried the reset function, no go. tried unplugging the battery, no go. what a waste.
Summary: Coming up on 2 years and it's still working fine although i don't have a lot of time on it,40 or 50 hours maybe. Bought the Koss Porta Pros and Sennheiser ear buds, along with the Audio Technica noise canceling headphones. The Porta Pros work the best. Sound quality is very good, and as one of the original purchasers of the Sony Walkman at about the same price close to 30 years ago, they've come a long way.
Summary: This MP3 player worked fine, within its limitations, for four months. Then the spring-loaded USB connector wore out and ceased working. At first this feature impressed me as kind of cool, but in fact it's a fatal flaw in design.
