Summary: This is the third YP-U2J I've owned. The first one broke of my own neglect. The second still works just fine, but I wanted a backup. Windows recognizes it just fine and it's easy to add or remove music. The file system on the device is simple and easy to use. Battery life is really good, far better than any Ipod you can buy. The blue LED is a nice touch, and can be turned off if the user finds it annoying. The only con I can think of is that it's no longer being made.
Summary: i love this player so much that i now have 2 of them i like it way better then ipod for so many reasons, 1 the size is its like a lighter in the pocket, 2 1 gb thats all you really need,3 battery life, AND THE BEST THE PRICE i could go on about it.
Summary: I own over five mp3 players including ipod, juke...etc. I wanted to buy something small and comfortable to carry. This samsung sure did the trick. It also has voice recording and radio and you can use as a jump drive. The quality of music was comparable to the ipod, very easy to navigate through menues and had many options in the setting mode. This is my all in one mp3 player and will be used alot more then my ipod.
Summary: If you don't need video functionality, this player is your best bet. The major reasons that place it above the rest are: -rechargeble directly through USB port, no batteries or cords needed! -Internal batter keeps charge longer because no LCD screen to suck power. -file transfers are simple: drag and drop, no special transfer software needed! -it doubles as a USB memory stick -voice recording for school, lectures, etc.
Summary: I bought the Samsung 1GB MP3 player from Ebay. It is really compact, light, and works well when I am working out. I don't have very many songs so the 1GB player has enough memory for me. The USB connection on the end makes it super easy to setup and transfer songs. Also, it can be used as a flash drive and it works quite well. I am very happy with my purchase. The only drawbacks are that it can be very hard to navigate and pick an individual song.
Summary: Great mp3 player I love it actually I`m going to buy another one of 2gb so I love it. Easy to use, have no problems. If you no of another but for 2gb please let me know. Also I love the dining and style. Just I love It.
Excerpt: This was my first ever mp3 player. I received it as a present from my uncle but he did say that he bought it from an online retailer. In my package was the software disc for the player and a set of instructions. As I had never used an mp3 player before I studied the instructions very carefully before using it. I expected the player to need batteries but it actually charges via your USB port, which is better than using batteries.
Excerpt: "...the time) got me a Samsung YP-U2R for my birthday about 3 years ago, and at the time I didn’t even know what an MP3 player was! I am (well used to be) a keen gym member, and had seen the odd ‘trendy geezer’ using one of these in the gym, but never really knew what it was, but suddenly I had one, and so I was keen to get it going, so I had a read of the user manual, and got it all set up, and was instantly impressed! It cost around £80 at the time, ...
Excerpt: "...product I have had from Samsung was great and longlasting, with usually the options you want on that product. This is a 2GB ( 1964MB? ) MP3 player, even though it supports alot of other audiofiles.
