Summary: I bought this mp3 player as a replacement. I had bought the same exact kind at a Wal-Mart about a year and a half ago but it was stolen out of my car. When I searched for it on Amazon, I was ecstatic when I saw the low price I could pay for a refurbished version of what I had before. One flaw is that the screen is not securely attached to the base so it is possible that it could pop off. However, this has only happened once and I've been using it pretty much every day.
Summary: I got this MP3 Player before my iPod Touch 2nd Gen. This actually is a really good MP3. Although sometimes the touch response is off by couple of seconds. But it has one of the best sound quality because it has DNSE which comes with many Samsung MP3's, also it has a built in FM radio, its Bluetooth Capable, also you can choose to play the song at a speed you want to play it at. So you can choose to extremely fast or really slow.
Summary: This product is a good buy if your looking for something that is more affordable than the itouch. I think this product has some improving to do. but as other company start coming out with a touch screen we will se better quality.
Summary: This mp3 player is a good investment. PRO'S- ~Easy to use and understand ~Very customizable (with internet connection) ~Bluetooth compatability ~Great graphics ~Very hardy (not easily broken) CON'S- ~Costly ~No music download software (must rip from CD, or have it on your computer already ~Not many games ~Takes a while to adjust to ~Expensive accsesories
Summary: the p2 is an amazing product, and samsung really did a great job making this product, because almost everything about it makes it better than its competition (itouch.) +pros -excellent sound quality and EQ.- the p2 has phenominal sound quality when compared to other mp3 players, and the ipod especailly. it sounds great without eq as it is, but there is 10 preset sounds in the menu, and mydNSE, which is custom eq you set up yourself.
Summary: I think its very nice, it's as good as advertised. The touch screen works well and it's easy to get around. The bluetooth link to your cell phone is great, and there is enough memory for what I need it for. The bad it that it must hook up to a usb port to recharge and all of the video has to be converted to some other format. But it is very easy to do with the Samsung media center provided.
Summary: I purchased the 4 GB P2 to compare it to the iPod Touch 8 GB. The UI is pretty good, not all menu options are "touch", some are done with the buttons on the sides of the P2. Pictures that have been reduced by the Samsung software and transferred to the P2 advance in about 3.5 seconds (1 second or less for the iPod touch). The screen scratches VERY easily. The picture quality for the screen size is outstanding. The drop and drag ability to transfer files is nice too.
Summary: Ok, I gave in and finally purchased an MP3 player. Criteria - small/thin/light, ample storage, not hard drive, not Apple, not Sony. Must do MP3, needs a screen. Anything else a bonus. Took me bloomin ages to decide but after plenty of Internet use I came across the Samsung YP-2 range. Was still undecided for a bit and even started looking at the Apple I-Touch but was just trying to be realistic about requirements. OK, so the review. It looks nice.
Summary: I bought the 4gb p2 2 weeks ago and im pretty happy with it. When i first tryed to set it up,i had trouble unzipping the firmware updates. I tryed to install best buy digital music store (u should get it, $15 a month for infinite song on you mp3 player) and it froze my computer making it impossible to do anything with my computer (that wasn't the p2's fault tho). I took a break from it and later on it let me unzip the firmware so i put that on it.
