Summary: Sound is excellent. Slide in/out=not portable. Good for desk use because when you slide out it is not convinient any more. Skipping song is a little bit not straight forward. At first i thought I could not skip a song due to defective one. However, it turns out to be due to setting. I would not recommend this if portability is your priority. I would recommend this for sound if you are looking for something small with big great sound.
Summary: The thing works way exactly as described. I think it could be modernized by having a larger screen and support for video, but overall I am happy with the performance of this player. My only complaint is the software that comes with it does not burn cd's very well.
Summary: Our daughter had a T-7 for a couple years but was ready for upgrade. We bought her a T10 for Christmas. Our son got a T9 last year and liked it so we figured the T10 would be even better. It seemed neat, had lots of nice options and sounds good BUT the big problem our daughter experienced was with the shuffle function. It played the same songs over and over in the same order and did not play all songs.
Summary: I am a massage/physical therapist; I work with people in their homes. I use music during the sessions and was tired of lugging around a boombox and cds. I was looking to get an ipod and speaker dock/attachment but it turned out that to get the quality of sound I wanted, I would end up with a player that is the same size as a boombox. While searching, I came across the K5 with built in speakers and decided to get it. I am very pleased!
Summary: I just received this MP3 player for Christmas and really like it. Being a little older, I am not engrossed with my music as when I was younger. I find myself not using the headphones that much. All of the functions work well and the preveous reviews cover these items very well. The headphones are the antenna for the FM radio so leaving these plugged in when listening to the speakers is not a big deal.
Summary: Sound quality surpasses or equals any iPods I have listened to. Very decent player. Lacks the 'extras' that the iPod has though, but I tend to just listen to music when jog/run/cook etc and don't care the extras. Great to play in cars too. On songs recorded at >128Kbps, the speakers in 3D mode are just simply awesome. Lower bit rates tend to sound flat on the speakers.
Summary: This is an excellent, easy to use mp3 player. It is the size of a cell phone and may be too big for people who want to use it in a gym, but, otherwise, it is spectacular. The sound is great. It is just right for travel and normal listening situations. If the user wants to feel like he is at a rock concert, this is not the player. For everyone else, this should be a great device. Navigation is easy, and it syncs with Rhapsody very well.
