Summary: This review was for the YP-F1 Z model, which has 1GB of Flash non-volatile memory, the largest capacity of this model series in the Samsung YEPP MP3 product line. This is an older series with a LCD display, the newer YP-U3 series have the Li-Polymer battery and 1" OLED display, and the alternative YP-T6 series use a replacable AAA battery and OLED display.
Summary: Best mp3 for a runner EVER invented. The size is small and it can clip right on your shorts or in a small pocket. This is the second one I have gotten; I wore the first one out after two years.
Summary: Bought this for my daughter. She was blown away by the features and the intuitiveness of the controls. The need to charge the unit as opposed to merely replacing batteries takes a little getting used to. Had to replace headphones as the ones that came with the unit were uncomfortable in the "necklace" configuration. Excellent value!
Summary: I bought the Samsung YP-F1 for personal use. I was well pleased with the shipping time and the ease in setting up software. I have enjoyed listening to my favorite mp3 files with this unit. I keep it with me all the time. I got a great buy--a product that fit my needs at a great price.
Summary: I already have a 1GB player like this one, very satisfied with both, easy to load and use. The only thing wrong is that they didn't include the cord to hang around your neck. Always buy a rechargable player like this unit. Forget the ones that take batteries...
Summary: Nice unit at first. + Slim, light, great sound. - Combination volume/control button on the side stopped working so unable to manipulate menus, and battery holds about 1 hr charge after 1 year of intermittent use.
