The Samsung YH-820 doesn't only have a pretty face, but it sounds pretty good too. But does it have the right stuff to beat other micro HDD players? Read more

It's small, it's sweet and it won't ruffle your jacket. The YH-820 may have a meagre battery life, but it sounds like a dream. It's still no match for the iPod, but what is? If you're looking for an alternative to joining the white-earphoned masses, the Samsung shrieks a reasonably fierce battle-cry Read more

This product is much more than your average "turn it on and listen to music" MP3 player. In addition, for the same money you get an easy to use portable hard drive, voice recorder, MP3 encoder and a color photo viewer in one neat and tidy package. Read more

This is the most infuriating player I have owned to date. You spend hours trying to fathom why certain songs just refuse to show up in the library or even transfer to the player, even when they are a supported codec. You wonder why when transferring files to the player it suddenly decides to have a fit and causes your computer to either lock-up or crash. Read more

This small lightweight device comes with many features. The Samsung YH-820 is equipped with a 5GB storage space and it can fit easily into your pocket. It is compatible with Vorbis, JPEG, MP3, OGG and WMA files. You can download your digital photos from the computer to share with others. You can also create slideshow from your pictures. That’s not all though, you can even set it to synchronise with this audio player. Nevertheless, if you are looking for something to mainly store your pictures then it will disappoint. The pictures will be a little fuzzy, but this can be over come a little if the photo snaps are extremely bright.

Samsung YH-820 audio player can store about 1200 songs, and it has a LCD screen size of 1.6 inch. It has a battery life of about 8 hours and the lithium battery is rechargeable. The battery life is a bit disappointing though. This impressive looking machine comes with a colour screen and the sound system is good. This device comes with earphones, belt clip, USB cable, and line in cable, carrying case, software CD, a quick guide and also an instruction manual. The line in port that comes with it, you can use it to record audio from sources apart from the Windows Media Player. The voice recorder that it has, you can use it to record lectures, or whatever you may want to record. The earphones are not at their best though. So you stand a better chance of enjoying this sleek device, if you replace the earphones. It has a FM Radio so when you do not want to listen to your collection of stored audio, you can always tune into it. Occasionally the machine will freeze and at times it will run a little slow.
