Summary: I bought this model mp3 player a few years ago, and found it very enjoyable with several features that fit my needs. This MP3 player was designed to work specifically with Napster. Within 6 months Napster upgraded their service, and my mp3 player never worked with it again. I was stuck only transferring ripped music from cd's. I personally believe that this whole DRM thing, and copy protected music is a complete destruction of our rights as consumers.
Summary: Lessons learned: Before buying, read several reviews, not just the description, and you really do get what you pay for. In terms of capacity, features, and ease of use (with the exception of Napster), this unit lives up to the hype and the FM reception is acceptable. However, I've experienced some very disturbing problems for which there seems to be no solution. First, the battery life is advertised at approx. 10 hours.
Summary: Looking at the last review the user said about the tracks not being visable on the unit but showing in windows explorer, what you need to do is from the software CD that you get with the unit, install the software that is in the utility folder (not the Napster software) this is the recovery utility, after dropping your tracks into the music folder on the mp3 player, leave it connected and launch the recovery utility (Start>programs>Samsung YH-920>recovery utility, click...
Summary: Disclaimer: this is the first MP3 player I have used. This seemed to be a good price for this size storage. I bought it thinking that if I didn't like the way it worked as an MP3 player, I could always use it as a USB drive. What I like: battery life is okay, not great. sound quality is good, earphones okay. constuction is good and sturdy, no problem with skipping. What I don't like: Using WMP 10 to transfer MP3 files usually doesn't work.
Summary: I like the way it looks, i like the dock and the remote control. It has a good clean sound and works well. But it doesn't have SRS WOW which i like. I bought it for the 20GB hard drive.and didn't know then much about MP3 players. I have 2- YH-920s 1-YH-820MC and 1-YH-925GS. i like the 820 and 925 better they have SRS WOW which makes them sound more to my taste.
Summary: It is a good MP3 player. However, it cannot display Chinese characters. Can somebody help me!!! I got it for 75 included shipping. It was a good deal. I like the remote headphone control device. The only thing that I don't like is, it won't display Chinese charactes. Can somebody out there help!!!!
Excerpt: A few years ago i made the mistake of not buying an ipod mini and going for the samsung yh-920. At first i was very impressed by the mp3 as it took no time at all for the software to load to the computer and put the music onto the ipod. I also was imprssed with the price of £120 from ebay which was £10 cheaper than the ipod mini at the time. However, after a few weeks, problems started to occur. When you turned it on it would turn on but the screen and music would not.
