Summary: I initially purchased a MotoActv mainly as a very compact MP3 player to take to the gym that had Bluetooth capabilities. All the added features were just a plus. However, in the end, I could not take the short battery life. It would last 2 and a half hour long gym visits before I had to recharge it. Then I tried the newer version Apple Ipod, but that thing is too expensive and WAY to small. I would be afraid to drop such an expensive thing.
Summary: Great mp3 or pmp. Be aware, that once Samsung mp3 or pmp players are discontinued to make way for the new batch, the price for remaining stock usually goes up significantly, because they're great players. This has been the case for several years.
Fantastic Price for a Fantastic Product! Dont reach for an "i"!

Summary: Truly the best media player I have owned! Ive had mine for 4 years now and it still works perfectly. Battery life is great, the features are very handy and easy to use. Scratch resistant screen really does work...it took a fall screen-down onto a driveway and slid a few feet and didnt even get a skitch! The best part of the YP-P3 though, is the sound quality. The first time I listened to a song, it gave me chills.
Summary: The unit was very useful for a time i used this about 6 times in a year to record assemblies and conventions, very little use in the 2 years I owned it, with no problems and then one day l turned it on and the right side of the touch screen was dead, which I thought was strange since it get's very little use, I purchased a used one from eBay, it too had a issue with the right side of the screen, so I would say if you buy used make sure they have a return policy.
Summary: This MP3 player is well built, has great sound, a vivid display, and is easy to operate. The Samsung software makes loading your music onto the player a breeze. The only slight negative I have experienced is an occasional slow response on the touch screen. I am definitely happy with this purchase!
Summary: Bought this because of the reported audio quality and file support capabilities. What a mistake. Many YP-P3 owners, including myself, are experiencing dead touchscreens. Many of the touchscreens fail while under warranty, but many users are experiencing failures shortly (sometmes within days) after the warranty expires. Samsung, of course, refuses to acknowledge the problem.
Summary: I love the both Samsung and the P2 and naturally thought the P3 would be an improvement. No, no, no. Problem is the P3 doesn't have any manual control for Play/Pause. That's a problem because always having to use the touch screen for those features creates many errors since the touch feature is very sensitive and not limited to the graphic dipiction of the control. In other words, just touching the screen anywhere may (and frequently does) result in an undesired action.
Summary: Great sound quality and nice video abilities. The 8 GB stores a ton of songs. Most of the apps are useless and I can't quite get the mp3 player to work pick up calls. I think that had I bought this product immediately after it was released, there would still be more support for it--like a website in English no emodio.com which is in a different Asian language. Samsung has moved on to new products 2 years later, but I would still highly recommend this product.
