Samsung P2 is Samsung Electronics’ first creation of MP3 portable player in a 3-inch 16 by 9 widescreen LCD touch screen UI and built-in Bluetooth connectivity. It comes with a memory space of 4 GB multimedia and digital FM all in one package. The P2 Bluetooth Connectivity can pair with up to 2 devices at the same time. It has a playback time of maximum 30 Hours for Audio which supports MP3, WMA, and subscription WMA with a maximum of 5 hours video playback time. It also supports MPEG4, SVI, WMV9 files and for photos and slideshows, it can support JPEG files. It has a built-in Li-Poly battery which can be charged through active USB connectivity that is compatible with Windows XP or Windows Vista Operating System. It weighs just 2.88 ounces, with dimensions of 3.94 by 2.05 by 0.39 inches. Added features such as: Alarm and World clock, Calendar and a File Viewer where you view and delete files without using the PC. This device comes with a pair with stereo headphones and speaker systems with high-quality sound.

In a world where their hasn't been any real ground breaking media players for a couple of years, the Samsung P2 shows a lot of evolutionary improvements when it comes to aesthetics, functionality and performance. This little 8GB unit is priced very competitively in the market and has a great touch-screen interface that is one of the best in the business. Ordered one from vendor of Amazon. Received item very timely. Was ok to use, took us a little while to figure it out. Did not come with good detailed instructions. You are kinda left on your own. Has really good sound quality. Touchscreen a little difficult. Sometimes I had to really swipe my finger to get it to do what I wanted. After all this and 3 weeks of learning to use it, it died. I have had the ipod nano, and the new zen which were both good, but the ipods screen was too small for me and the zen i still love. But. The P2 was good as well, maybe not as good as the zen until the new firmware was loaded on. It included file transfer between phones and other bluetooth devices, games, new touch control, radio recording and many more. This free firmware in my eyes bumps it up above the ipod nano, still far off the touch. Read more
