  1. Samsung P2 Review

    Reviewer: Anything but iPod
    4 November 2007

The P2 commands a premium price compared other similar capacity players and rightfully so, due to all the packed in features like Bluetooth and a brilliant large screen. But I believe that the price premium is also justified in the quality of the hardware. As I described above, it is a well-designed and well-built player. Keep in mind you are trading a little bit of usability for the coolness and fun factor of the touch interface; the P2 is not something you can use... Read more

  2. Samsung P2 TouchScreen Media Player

In a world where their hasn't been any real ground breaking media players for a couple of years, the Samsung P2 shows a lot of evolutionary improvements when it comes to aesthetics, functionality and performance.  This little 8GB unit is priced very competitively in the market and has a great touch-screen interface that is one of the best in the business.  I've played with the iPod touch and with the SuperTalent VideoGo touch-screen players and the Samsung P2 fall... I have been a Mac-guy for over a decade and have owned an iPod since the beginning. I am currently using an and I take it with me everywhere I go. But being the gadget-junkie that I am, I was getting a bit bored with my current lot of tech-toys. So, I started looking into other portable music/video players looked like a worthy candidate; it had several features the Touch did not, a nice form-factor, and it had received rave reviews. I read many reviews praising the P2 as... Read more

à Read more

I bought from this site before, always a great service with reasonable price. This is my first media player. Software was easy to install and copying my musics, videos and pictures was a breeze. Read more

Ordered one from vendor of Amazon. Received item very timely. Was ok to use, took us a little while to figure it out. Did not come with good detailed instructions. You are kinda left on your own. Has really good sound quality. Touchscreen a little difficult. Sometimes I had to really swipe my finger to get it to do what I wanted. After all this and 3 weeks of learning to use it, it died. The screen went blank. I could still hear music, but could no longer use the... Read more

I have had the ipod nano, and the new zen which were both good, but the ipods screen was too small for me and the zen i still love. But. The P2 was good as well, maybe not as good as the zen until  the new firmware was loaded on. It included file transfer between phones and other bluetooth devices, games, new touch control, radio recording and many more. This free firmware in my eyes bumps it up above the ipod nano, still far off the touch. Read more
