The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 is a personal media player that runs Android Froyo (2.2) and is upgradable to Gingerbread (2.3). It is powered by a 1 Ghz processor and is designed in a 78.2×141.3×11.9 mm form factor. The PMP also sports a 5-inch TFT display (WVGA 800 x 480) with enhanced sound engine (SoundAlive), stereo speaker, multicodec support and SmartLife with Google services. It is optimized with WiFi Communicator for VoIP, has embedded receiver for VoIP, Front Camera for Video Chat, is preloaded with Solution for VoIP (Skype) & Video Chat (Qik plus).

Users can connect to the Internet using its Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support. The Galaxy S 5.0 also supports 702p HD recording, Bluetooth 3.0 and comes with Skype and Qik Plus pre-loaded for VOIP calling and video chat from Wi-Fi hotspots. The PMP is available in 16 and 32 GB models.
