Summary: I had purchased one just like it about 4 yrs ago and it froze up on me. I did not realize that all I had to do was to reformat the first one and it would be just as good as new. I purchased this one because of the great price so now I own two. The sound quality is very good when coupled with a good set of head phones such as Boze or Sony. I had taken the first one almost every day to word inside and out here in the Arctic Circle in Point Hope, Alaska. It never failed me.
Summary: If I could give it 0 stars, I would. When I got the item and turned it on initially, it threw me an error (Maximum size limit reached, please delete some items) and I thought it was probably just low on charge. After plugging it in and letting it charge for a full day, I finally got it turned on. That was only the start of my troubles. After syncing, it sometimes turned on and sometimes didn't.
Summary: i have had this mp3 player for 3 years and it has been through 4 moves, school, many trips and having a visually impaired owner that drops it constantly lol. When i first got it i noticed it was very light and that did worry me as i thought for sure it would break. I really try and baby my electronics but things happen. This little thing has fantastic sound quality and is very easy to navigate.
Summary: This is a great little player. music quality is just awesome, e-books are playable if its a txt file and there added in order. the radio works great as well. the only problem i have with this player is not the video playback, but the adding of the videos onto the device. included on the player in a folder is rca easyrip, which, in the user manual, says that this program is the only way to get videos onto the player.
Summary: RCA Lyra Slider is a great player. Bought it for my hubby and he loves it, says the sound quality is fantastic and the bass is unbelievable. It's small, light-weight, but solid design, comes with very nice earbuds, and holds a charge for a long time. Would highly recommend to everyone!
Summary: I got the Lyra Slider mp3 player as an early Christmas gift and was a little leery of it after reading some mixed reviews. But, I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised by how easy-to-use and functional it is. It doesn't have the brand-appeal of the ubiquitous iPod but it serves its purpose well, and for a fraction of the cost of a recent-generation iPod. THE GOOD: 1) EASE OF USE: Anyone can use this mp3 player. Seriously.
Summary: I have had the Lyra Slider for almost 2 years. The only problem I have found is that the ability to save to favorites doesn't work all the time. Why it comes and goes I have no idea, I have freed up space to see if maybe that was the reason but that didn't work. The Battery life is amzazing. I download and listen to 99% talk radio so the feature to delete from the player without having to connect to my CPU is awsome. It is very user friendly.
Summary: I could not see paying the prices for most media players, and when I saw this I was skeptical. But, I was pleasantly surprised at the qualiity of both sound and video. It is well worth the asking price. It may not be "cool" to buy the old-fashioned RCA brand name, but don't be fooled by names!
