Summary: I got this for christmas a few years ago. It is a VERY good MP3 player! I noticed with the one i had, one of the earbuds stopped working. I thought it was the headphones, but it was the device. My headphone worked fine in other audio devices. But I do think it is VERY good!
Summary: I bought two of these because I really like them and had bought at least three from Wal Mart over time. However, the ones I bought on Amazon were junk. The buttons were not correct and they failed very early. I believe them to be used and sold as new. The packaging seemed to support this belief. I have been very happy with most things I bought on amazon but these were junk. if I had confidence I would buy three right now!
Low end - with annoying random number generator ...

Summary: I bought it to be used in the gym - it is compact and with the aid of a small utility named "iTuneMyWalkman" can be easily synchronized with playlists in iTunes (Macintosh) - it has a helpful stopwatch. Turned out that the sound quality is poor, the volume is poor, the headphones must be replaced to have a reasonable sound quality, the control is not intuitive, and the buttons are uncomfortable.
Summary: All I wanted was an inexpensive mp3 player to use in the gym. My last one (Zen Nano) broke after I dropped it and I wanted something a little more robust. I assumed that the low price had to do with the lack of bells and whistles on this very basic player but apparently it is a reflection of the quality as well. The battery life is horrendous. It only lasts an hour or two in use and seems to drain over night when the device is turned off.
Summary: I love my RCA. This will tune radio signals which is great for my gym that has multiple tv's each has its onw radio station for the audio. also has many diffrent arm bands so it will fit you no matter how big or small your arm is! All around great product.
Summary: This little music player is tops amongst the field in rugged, personal music players. The method of carry is fasciltated by the two handles molded into each side of unit, which allows for the passage of the elastic nylon straps. This enables the player to be worn around the upper arm, which in my opinion if the superior method of carry when engaging in action sports such as cycling or running. Operation buttons are easily accessible while on the go.
Summary: This is a piece of junk. I originally bought the S2001 which I wanted so my kid could listen to audio books.. It wouldn't sync to the PC and it seemed as if it was mounting and un-mounting every few seconds. It only would appear as a hard drive basically, and even that was unstable. It supposedly comes "Audible Ready" but I couldn't get my downloaded books to play on it.
Summary: This is a gym-rat's joy. I'd like it to have longer battery life on its rechargable, but in terms of size, toughness, resistance to moisture, sound quality and storage capability, it's better than my last three different mp3 players. I use stationary bikes and arc trainers for an hour at a shot and am often dripping by the end. This unit is impervious to gym dangers. It came with both wrist and arm straps that work well.
