Worked great for 5 min!

Brian G. "Oliblis", Amazon
12 June 2014
  • Summary: Yup, I read the reviews where people mentioned one side stopped working, and that's exactly what happened to mine after about 5 min in the pool. It was a great five min though! Sound quality is just fine, they fit well, and stayed on perfectly (I used one of the straps of my goggles to keep them in place). If they kept working I would give five stars but alas five min is not the life span I was looking for.

  • Summary: I bought this for a friend as a present as I have the identical one in blue. I loaded it up with tunes and it wouldn't play so must be defective. Disappointed so I returned it.

They are junk... but at least they are dangerous.

Scores More "Scoresmore", Amazon
2 May 2014
  • Summary: In total, they lasted two weeks, and I used them three times. On the first wear, the ear plug came off the headphones and was lodged up into my ear canal while I was in the pool. I tried everything, but I could not get it out. I had to go home and carefully put a tweezers up into my ear and carefully pull it out. Then the sound completely went out in the left ear on the next swim. And on the following swim they just stopped all together.

So far, working good

  • Summary: That's my fourth WaterProof headset and on average, they have lasted 3 to 4 months before starting to break down. While they work, they do work fantastic and are great for long swim. By breaking down, I mean that one side will stop working, volume will become very low, and in one case, the headset completely stopped working. Fingers crossed this one will last longer.

great for running

26 April 2014
  • Summary: I have used the pyle mp3 player for a few runs now and they work great. The fit snug and the sound is good low or no bass but they are ear buds which I expected. Easy to change songs and change volume while running. I have not used them in the water yet or when it was raining it is to cold for me to run in the rain so far.

Not too bad

  • Summary: Keeps popping out the ear, doesn't fit so well. Found JLAb's similar design better. Not too bad for the price.

Ok for the price you get what you pay for

Robert R. Siefert "sailor", Amazon

  • Summary: The second pair I got to replace the 1st have been much better and reliable. They don't play songs in the order I load them or seem to have any discernible list but after playing with my them I do get decent sound. Just having a inexpensive way to listen to music during long workouts is definitely worth the $40 price. There also is another swimmer who has the same pair and his are over a year old so that was reassuring also.

FANTASTIC... so far

Vanessa, Amazon
26 March 2014
  • Summary: These little headphones make my swimming routine breeze by! I was worried when I looked at the other reviews because it seems as thought about 1/4, or maybe a little less, have bad luck with these failing after a few times, maybe due to a poor/cheap seal. I took a chance and hoped I was one of the lucky ones who got a good set and I am! (so far, at least) Considering the price, the sound quality on these is AMAZING.
